Drain Cleaning
Drain Cleaning Cost in Orange County: 2026 Pricing
What a sink, tub, or main-line drain cleaning actually costs across Orange County, with and without hydro jetting.

We do not publish drain cleaning prices, and a figure quoted before anyone has seen the line is a placeholder. What we can tell you is what moves the number, which is the part that lets you read a quote and judge it.
The five things that set it
Which method the line actually needs: cabling and jetting are different jobs. Access: an existing exterior cleanout is straightforward, a roof vent or a pulled toilet is not. Length and depth of the run. Whether a camera inspection is included. And time of day, since a call at two in the morning carries a different cost than one at two in the afternoon.
Why "drain cleaning from $X" is not information
That headline is written for a best case: an accessible cleanout, a simple blockage, business hours. It is not dishonest so much as meaningless, because the case it describes is not the one prompting the search. What matters is what the number becomes once someone has looked.
Cheapest per visit is not cheapest per year
A cabled kitchen line clears today and blocks again in weeks if the wall is lined with grease. Three of those cost more than one jetting and leave the pipe where it started. The comparison worth making is over a year, not over an afternoon.
What should be in the quote
The method, why that method, whether a camera is included, what happens if the blockage turns out to be structural rather than a blockage, and any warranty on the clearance. A quote missing the fourth is the one that turns into a second conversation on the day.
The upsell to watch for
Being quoted a repair from the top of a cleanout, without footage. Roots, grease, a belly and a collapse are indistinguishable from up there, and any recommendation made without a camera is a guess with a price on it. Ask to see the line.
How we do it
Diagnose first, quote in writing before starting, and camera anything recurring. If the honest answer is that cabling is enough and jetting would be selling you equipment, that is what you will be told.
Access is the variable people underestimate
An exterior cleanout with room to work is the cheap case. No cleanout at all means access through a roof vent or by pulling a toilet, both of which add time and risk before any cleaning begins. If you do not know whether your property has one, that single fact is worth establishing before you ring anyone for a price.
